The latest update of Huawei P30 Pro brings version 9.1.0.124 of EMUI with the version number C431E4R2P2. The update updates the Always On Screen feature more prominently by enabling notifications from third-party applications when the screen is off. The feature, which is also available on other Huawei phones, including the Huawei P20 Pro ₹ 117,119 and the Mate 20 Pro ₹ 64,990, was previously limited to preloaded applications only.

The change log that appears in the published screenshots shows that the update also optimizes the performance of the Huawei P30 Pro camera in “certain scenarios”. In addition, it solves the audio problem that affected the playback experience specifically of Instagram videos. The update also improves the performance of unlocking fingerprints and comes with the security patch of March 2019 for Android. In addition, there is a solution for the pre-installed SwiftKey keyboard.
